You should't do this before exam.......(By Shailendra Porwal)

NEVER DO THIS BEFORE EXAM

Exams ooops!...........feel like lots of pressure has come..the movement you gets the time table , teachers and parents might be putting pressure on you. And you might putting lots of pressure on yourself as well

Here is the list of things you SHOULDN’T do. Don’t mug up, Don't be panic– When you are studying a topic, for exams or any competitive exam, it is important to understand the basics and ‘learn’ them. Understand even theory before learning it – what are the reasons, what has been done, and then you will see that it will stick in your mind. Try to get the basic concept/theme of each question/topic despite learning topics/questions by heart.

1. DO NOT USE SOCIAL MEDIA.

Put your phone on silent mode and place it at the other end of the room. (better if you can keep it outside you room) Turn off your Internet access. Take a deep breath when you’re about to get distracted.

Never be in that impression that it will help me in searching out the best option, answer, important tip…..No….Say no to Mobile while preparing for exam.

It’s an addiction which takes away most of your time. How it distract you… If you say hi…you friend will reply hello…and then you start talking forwarding jokes laughing then..and so on.

Later you may even check your Facebook then you feel like posting.

Later you may wish lets check Istagram..Telegram…Twitter….so the story never ends without realization you lose so many odds with so much distraction and unnecessary thoughts in your head which does not allow you to concentrate on studies.

2. DO NOT ASK YOUR FRIEND…

While revision or preparing never ever call your friend and ask …..

The most common question. …

How much have you finished studying yet. Suppose he/she has completed 5 chapters and you are at 3 so that very moment tension sets in and you start getting negative thoughts in your head about low marks, your admission, your future then you try finishing all the chapters as fas as you can with compromising the quality of learning.

And suppose your friend studied less then you, you get relaxed and slow down your speed, which will work as a virus into your preparation schedule. So never compare your study with your friend.

3. DO NOT CHANGE THE BOOK AT THE LAST MOVEMENT :

If you call your friend and ask which book you referring, and if it is different from what you are referring since beginning, you will get tensed and will rush to market and get the new book.

So, do not try to change the books NCERT, Reference book, text book at the last minute, never try any new study material. The one you are referring is sufficient and stick on that.

4. PROCRASTINATION :

Never procrastinate, if you have 4 days left for preparation, then divide the chapters accordingly, use first 3 days for revision. If you keep postponding your studies you will end up pilling a lot to do at the last movement which will make you tens
e.

5. NEVER CHANGE YOUR TIME TABLE :

Do not try to change the time table schedule of your studyon last days of study. If you are studying for  8 hours a day, then you have to maintain the same with full determination to achieve the goal.

Make sure keep your last days study for revision, don’t even think of completing the entire syllabus in last days. You cant. Those who study since beginning with proper planning and time table, will always feel relax in last days tension less.

Do not come in influenced by the method your friend is using. Like your strategy is to first finish the difficult chapters, and your friend may finish the easy chapters first.  Whatever strategy or method you have been using all the year be stick on that.

“You study the way you want, not the others”

6. NO OUTSIDE PARTY/FASTFOODS :

Funny but most important, just before few days of exams, avoid eating outside foods, it may make you sick or any infections, eat only home cooked light food, which is easy to digest. Because eating heavy food make you feel slippy (If you feel hungry eat  light food 3-4 time rather than having full heavy lunch and dinner).Try to have more vegetables and fruits.

7. TAKE GOOD SLEEP :

Oversleep will make you lethargic and lazy. And less sleep will make you sleepy and week. A sound sleep of 6 hours is sufficient for a student. It has come into notice that due to exam stress most of the students study overnight and take 3-4 hours of sleep in night…If you will do it for 2-3 days continuously it will disturb the remaining days, you wont be able to concentrate on studies.

Don’t be nervous, Nervousness leads to confusion.

Be positive and concentrate on your preparation for successful result.

Do you think you’re that hare who won the race against the poor tortoise who started studying a month before you? If you do, re-adjust your confidence levels. Because the earlier you start, the more relaxing is your pre-exam day.

Thanks...
